House of cards
I remember very well when I got the call from the doctor. Due to the coronavirus, this was done by telephone. Cancer..
Then all sorts of things go through your mind. Thoughts shift from your two-year-old son to your pregnant wife and back again. I still have so much to tell them and I thought I had decades left to do so.
These thoughts turned out to be the seed for this website. I am now fine again and am enjoying my family to the fullest. To be on the safe side, I save all messages in FHWL for later.
The journey had begun, and thankfully had begun with soft blue skies and calm seas.
This is true for many who are at the beginning of their lives. Fortunately, in many countries you have little to worry about as a child. As you get older, this slowly changes. Sooner or later, the day will come that will be your last. The beautiful blue sky and calm sea turned into a veritable storm with towering waves. The ship may sink and how did you leave your loved ones on shore?
With FHWL, you can turn the storm around. The comprehensive scheduling and messaging system allows you to save messages to your loved ones in the future.
For example, you can save a birthday wish for your children for every year to come. What would you want to give your child of 18? What will it run into and how would you advise your child? Write this down in an email or include it in a video message that you save in the system. There is a good chance that in the years after your death, your children will no longer look forward to the gifts on their birthday, but to the email that appears in their mailbox at the stroke of 12 o’clock from their deceased parent. Think of it as a kind of insurance. Whether you are sick or healthy, it is a nice thought for a young parent that you have left it well behind.
Heaven.
What we do in life echoes in eternity.
For everyone.
Of course, people who are (have been) ill see more easily what FHWL can do for them than someone for whom health has become self-evident. But the chances of death are equally high for both when they get into the car a certain morning. This is why FHWL is interesting even for a healthy person. You hope you don’t have to use it, but it’s a nice thought that it exists.
With the AliveChecks, we check whether you are still alive monthly via email. This only costs you a few seconds per month.
On a mission
But police officers, soldiers and people with other high-risk professions have also left their messages to loved ones on FHWL. For them, it is all the more true
that they may not have been able to say goodbye to the home front at the end of the day. A beautiful bunch of flowers on the wedding day can then be so valuable for those involved.
How it works?
FHWL’s system basically speaks for itself. The system is designed in such a way that you have to repeat as few actions as possible. You can duplicate and use messages and addresses as often as you like.
